Janet Jackson To Visit ‘Tonight Show With Jay Leno’

For the first time since Michael Jackson’s death in June 2009, Janet Jackson will visit a late night network talk show when she appears on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on March 18, Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal.
Janet will join Jay for an interview, however, she will not perform. The musical guest that night will be Australian artist Orianthi, who was actually Michael’s lead guitarist during rehearsals for his “This Is It” tour, a trek which sadly never made it to the London stage.
Janet’s “Tonight Show” appearance will mark her second network interview since Michael’s death after sitting down with ABC’s Robin Roberts in November.
Janet is the latest big name NBC has drawn to welcome Jay back to the “Tonight Show.”

Janet's "Nothing" Gets It's First Play At Private

Wednesday night (March 3rd), Janet’s new song ‘Nothing’ recieved its first play at a private advance screening for her upcoming movie ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’. The Jermaine Dupri-helmed ballad is titled ‘Nothing’ and is co-written by Janet herself. It also serves as the movie’s theme song. The 43-year-old is rumoured to perform the song on Oprah Winfrey's Show but as of now, the song does not have a scheduled premiere date.
Apparently, neither Janet or the movie’s producer Tyler Perry attended Wednesday night’s screening. However, she did attend a performance of Tyler Perry’s stage play Madea’s Big Happy Family at the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago. On Oprah, Janet will share the sofa with Perry where they both discuss the movie. Performing her new song on a large scale magnitude like Oprah would be a good look for the iconic pop star. With Oprah being the highest-rated talk show in television history, she can tap in to lots of different audiences.
It also needs to be mentioned that the song is not the same as the Brandon Hines-helmed demo that has been floating around Youtube recently.

Janet To Perform On Oprah

According to ThatGrapeJuice.net it has been confirmed that Janet will be performing her new single "Nothing" on the Oprah Winfrey Show; a Jermaine Dupri produced song which serves as the centre-piece of the film’s its soundtrack.
The episode is set to be filmed shortly, and will air during the last week of March – a few days prior to the movie’s theatrical release.
ThatGrapeJuice.net also reports that the new Janet song "Nothing" possibly due next week.
